What if thruuu generated content in your brand voice from the start?
The Brand Kit in thruuu captures your brand’s identity, voice, and writing style once, then applies it automatically to everything thruuu generates. Here is what it does:
- Capture your brand name, description, and target audience in one place
- Define your value proposition and proof points so every article makes the same claim
- Set your tone of voice and writing rules, including a list of words to avoid
- Teach thruuu your title, meta description, and outline conventions
- Learn your writing style directly from your own published articles
- Apply all of it automatically to every outline, title, and description thruuu generates
- Export the whole kit as a Markdown file for your copywriters
When your brand is baked into the starting point, you spend less time rewriting and more time publishing content that sounds unmistakably yours.
Two ways to build your Brand Kit
There is no blank form to fill in from scratch. You start from your real content.
- Extract from your URLs: Paste a few of your best article URLs and thruuu reads your pages, then fills the Brand Kit with your actual voice and writing style.
- Paste your existing guidelines: Already have a brand or style doc? Drop the text in and thruuu maps it onto the Brand Kit for you.

Both methods produce the same editable kit, so you can refine any field afterward.
Now let’s review what is inside a thruuu Brand Kit.
Brand Identity
The Brand Identity card captures who the brand is and who it writes for.
It holds three fields: Brand Name (the brand behind the content), Description (what the brand or product actually is), and Target Audience (who the content speaks to).
This is the foundation. When thruuu knows who you are and who you are writing for, generated content speaks to the right reader instead of a generic one.

Positioning
The Positioning card holds your Value Proposition (the central promise your content should reinforce) and your Proof Points (the facts and differentiators that back it up).
Positioning is what keeps a content program coherent. With it set, every article thruuu helps you build reinforces the same core claim instead of drifting article by article.

Voice and rules
The Voice and Rules card controls how the brand sounds and what to avoid. It has three fields:
- Tone of Voice: the personality of the writing, for example confident and plain-spoken, or warm and expert.
- Writing Rules: concrete, checkable mechanics, for example “address the reader as you, keep sentences under 25 words, sentence case for headings.”
- Words and Phrases to Avoid: your banned list, actively enforced in generated titles and descriptions.
Concrete rules apply more reliably than vague tone notes. The banned list is the fastest way to keep clichés and off-brand terms out of what thruuu produces.

Style Guide
The Style Guide is how your brand actually writes, learned from your own articles.
It covers your Title Style, Meta Description Style, Outline Structure, and Writing Style, which is captured as four distinct parts:
- Introduction (how you open an article),
- Paragraph (how individual paragraphs are built),
- Transitions (how you bridge between ideas),
- and Conclusion (how you land the close).

Every part has a plain-language description plus example slots, and you can add your own real examples to any of them.
This matters more than anything else in the kit.
The more representative the examples you provide, the more on-brand thruuu’s output becomes, which makes it the single most effective lever you have.
The pages used to learn your brand are kept on file under Source URLs, so you can re-extract anytime, after a rebrand or once you have published newer content that better represents your voice.
CTA conventions
The CTA Conventions card holds your CTA Placement and Standard CTA Text.
When thruuu drafts content, it applies your preferred call to action instead of a generic one, so the way you ask readers to act stays consistent across everything you publish.
How thruuu applies your Brand Kit
Once a Brand Kit exists, thruuu applies it automatically. There is no toggle and no extra step:
- Outlines follow your structure and reinforce your positioning.
- Titles match your naming convention and tone, with banned words kept out.
- Meta descriptions match your style, never generic or clickbait.
- AI Draft (coming soon) generates full article drafts with your brand, voice, and CTA built in.
The Brand Kit shapes the starting point thruuu generates from.
It does not produce finished articles, so writers still do the final pass.
You can also export the whole kit as a Markdown file to hand to copywriters or drop into your own docs.
How to get started
- Create a free thruuu account
- Log in and open the Brand Kit
- Choose a starting method: extract from your URLs, or paste your existing guidelines
- Review each card and refine any field (every field is click-to-edit)
- Add your own examples to the Style Guide slots for the most on-brand output
One Brand Kit per workspace
Each workspace has its own Brand Kit, so you can run a different brand voice and style in every workspace.
This is built for agencies managing multiple clients and teams managing more than one brand, where each one needs its own tone, positioning, and writing style.
The number of distinct brand styles you can maintain comes down to how many workspaces your plan allows:
| Plan | Workspaces | Brand Kits |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | Up to 3 | One per workspace |
| Agency | Up to 10 | One per workspace |
To set up a separate style for a client or brand, create a workspace for it and build its Brand Kit there.
What plan do you need?
Brand Kit is available on the Pro and Agency plans.
Tips
- Point extraction at your best work. thruuu learns from the URLs you give it, so feed it the articles that best represent your voice, not your oldest posts.
- Fill the example slots in the Style Guide. Adding your own real introductions, paragraphs, and conclusions is the biggest single lever on how on-brand the output reads.
- Use the words to avoid list. It is actively enforced in generated titles and descriptions, so add the clichés and terms you never want to see.
- Re-extract after a rebrand. Source URLs are kept on file, so refresh the kit once you publish content that better represents your current voice.
- Set writing rules as checkable mechanics. Concrete rules like sentence length or sentence case headings apply more reliably than vague tone descriptions.
- Export the kit for your copywriters. Hand the Markdown file to writers so human drafts and thruuu drafts stay aligned.
