Who Can Access the thruuu API?
The thruuu API is available exclusively to subscribers.
Different plans provide access to specific features and limitations.
Access Rights and Limitations
- SERP API: Available to all subscribers, allowing Google scraping and analysis.
- BRIEF API: Available to Pro and Agency plan subscribers for creating SEO briefs.
- WEB API: Available exclusively to Agency plan subscribers for in-depth page scraping.
Both the SERP and BRIEF APIs support bulk operations, meaning you can analyze a list of keywords simultaneously:
- Starter and Pro Plans: Up to 20 keywords per batch.
- Agency Plan: Up to 100 keywords per batch.
Cost
- SERP API: Analyzing 1 keyword costs 1 credit.
- BRIEF API: Creating 1 brief costs 5 credits (includes a SERP analysis for each brief).
- Bulk volume: Costs 1 credit per additional keyword.
- WEB API: Analyzing 1 URL is free.
Webhook Approach
The SERP and BRIEF APIs use a webhook approach.
You’ll need to set up a webhook endpoint on your end, either via a dedicated application or with tools like Make.
Once the process is initiated, thruuu performs a long-running task and sends the completed response to your webhook.
Setup the thruuu API
To access the thruuu API dashboard and start the setup, open the left navigation, go to “API & Bulk Tools“, then click on “API“.
To use the API, you need two things:
- An API Key
- A webhook endpoint
The API Key allows you to access the API programmatically.
You can generate a new API key by clicking on “Generate Key” from the interface. This key will have to be present in every request made to the API.
The second parameter is the webhook endpoint.
The thruuu API uses webhooks to notify your application when a SERP has been successfully scraped. The webhook endpoint is an URL configured on your application (or server) that receives data from the thruuu API.
You should enter a valid endpoint and click on “Update endpoint”.
